Kids-giving Ideas

When I think of Thanksgiving, I think of food, family and fun!

Below are some of our favorite Kids-Giving activities, snacks and table settings.

We used White Kraft Paper that matched our tablecloth for the Kids Place Setting at the adult table + our fun activity sheets to keep them entertained!

We’ve also set up a separate area for the kids when we needed extra space at the adult table. They loved the fun colors we used for this table featuring  Colorful Pumpkins from Target  and balloon garland (Assorted Colored Balloons + Inflator +  Balloon Garland Tape) to give the kids’ area fun pops of color!

Opt for an easy table cover made of Kraft Paper — Add markers or a bowl of crayons to keep the kids occupied. You can draw on tic-tac-toe, dots or other fun games — or download & print our free activity sheets!

Kids table with Kraft Paper table covering, Markers, Disposable Festive Plates & Gold Utensils, “I’m Thankful For…” Turkey Activity and blank name cards for the kids to decorate on their own — you can add fun stickers, too!

Our kids also love making handprint turkeys! We set up a corner craft table to keep the paint mess contained. Don’t forget to include some baby wipes to clean off their painted hands! We used Crayola Washable Paint and these Paint Brushes. Print your Free Turkey Handprint Page below.

Kid-Approved Treats

In Ohio, we grew up making buckeyes every fall for football season. For Thanksgiving, we made them into turkeys. If you haven’t tried them, they are mini-bites of chocolate and peanut butter Heaven! They are very simple to make, no baking required, and a great recipe for kids to help with, too! Check out the Buckeye Recipe Here
